Prayer Ministry

At St Peters we offer prayer ministry as one of our core activities with elders more than happy to pray with you regularly.

Small Groups

St Peters in the City small groups allow you to get to know a bunch of people a bit better, to ask questions, to be cared for and to pray together.

Youth & Kids

At St Peters in the City discipleship and spirituality are important to us. We are intentional about joining our children on the journey of faith.

Kids in Christ (KIC)

Christian faith for children through story and activities held during the 10.00am Sunday Service throughout the school term.

Youth

St Peters Youth and Junior Bible Classes are for people in years 7-8 (JBC) and years 9-13 (Youth) and meets every Sunday during the school term from 4:30-6:30pm.

Outreach At St Peters we are interested in others, we find that meeting with Jesus encourages us to go out into our community and share

St Peters House

St Peters House is our trust, our community ministry, our primary vehicle for outreach in Tauranga. St Peters people reaching out in love to our local community.

At the moment, life is certainly different for all of us and for many it is a time of financial uncertainty or major economic change.

About Us

At St Peters in the City, Tauranga we seek to be a people so inspired by our relationship with God that we are compelled to share it joyfully with others.

Venue Hire

Our modern building is well equipped to handle you small conference or group meeting needs. With an onsite kitchen and large auditorium we can cater for up to 250 delegates.

Life was designed to be lived to the full. At St Peters, we want to help you live life to the full, the fullness of Christ by growing your Christian faith.

History

Founded in 1878 we are 136 years old and we are the mother church in Tauranga for Presbyterians offering church services, youth groups, play groups, childcare, bible teaching and more.

Giving

Youth

Junior Bible Class (JBC)

Designed for people in Years 7-8 JBC runs during St Peters second service every Sunday of the school term and is a time given to building an understanding of the important foundational elements of the Christian faith.

St Peters Youth

St Peters in the City have a great team of committed youth leaders and enjoy a varied program including bible study, speakers, a worship band or two, games and discussion in groups.

We have social events running throughout the term. The best place to learn about these is on the Facebook page.

We meet on Sundays 4:30-6:30.

We want to form followers of Jesus who help others follow Jesus.

St Peters Youth is for people in Years 9-13 and takes faith in Jesus seriously.
