Learning, Loving, Worshiping, Praying, Serving and Inviting
“I love going to my Small Group, just hanging out with the guys and talking about life. It’s really good to have a bunch of guys I can pray with also.”
Getting involved with St Peters is not just about Sunday church services, we have a stack of Small Groups to suit most people, and we are often starting new ones. These Small Groups allow you to get to know a bunch of people a bit better, to ask questions, to be cared for and to pray together.
All our Small Groups do some sort of study, but they also have fun and care for each other. We have a range of groups available:
Comprising of 6-12 people, groups meet in homes and offices throughout the city. Each group has a leader from our congregation and receives supervision support from our pastoral staff.
Groups generally meet 2 – 4 times a month for worship, bible study, friendship and prayer. Some groups also participate in regular service projects or social events.
Our groups provide a sanctuary from the pressures and anxieties of life in the city and can help you make new friends. Small Groups are places where we can be revitalized and strengthened as we seek to reflect the love of Jesus Christ. As God made us for community, we need others to help us apply the gospel to our lives. Our hope is that everyone who attends St Peters will be involved in a Small Group.
