Welcome, and greetings church family,

Today's pastoral message is to encourage you to reach out to God through His Word. We read a fantastic example of this in Psalm 31:2-3; "Turn your ear to me, come quickly to my rescue; be my rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me. 3. Since you are my rock and fortress, for the sake of your name lead and guide me." It is significant to remember who we remain dependant on as we move through our busy days.

Here are some of my resting places in the Word that I have been blessed and encouraged with in my personal walk with the Lord. My prayer is as you read them that you may also be encouraged and focused on our Lord Jesus Christ.


Psalm 18:19

As for God, His way is blameless; The word of the Lord is tried; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.


Psalm 91:1

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.


Phillipians 4:4-9

4. Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5.Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6.Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7.And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 8.Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things. 9.Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me-put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
