24 Oct 2016   Dear Friends:

Greeting dear friends:

Grace and peace to you!  We ask God to give you all wisdom and revelation so that you may know him better. . .may the eyes of your also be enlightened so that you may know the hope of his calling.

We thank God for his protection at all times.  Two consecutive typhoons recently hit the country and the last one was a super typhoon.  We were not hit directly because it devastated the northern part of the country.  Though it was very strong, the casualty or the number of people who died was very minimal, but the damage to properties and the crop was big.  Prices of commodity/food supplies were affected immediately.  Prices had risen 50%. . .we are just grateful we do not have to buy much as there were some food we can get from the things we grow like eggplants and other veggies plus poultry.  We were also sick. . .both of us had been fighting an infection for some time.  Praise the Lord we are now on the mend. . .

Our Mangyan students are now back to their villages for a week.  They had a break from school after finishing their first semester.  They will return first week of November.  We are very grateful to the Lord for them. When we started working for the Mangyan Kalakbay we were encouraged by God from the word and the vision of Mangyan kids praising Him.  We are slowly experiencing and seeing realization of that dream/vision whenever they come forward to do special numbers in our weekly service/bible study for them.  Some offer songs of praise,  some write original poems to praise God and they recite it at the front. Praise the Lord for His faithfulness. . .

At the villages we visit we work most of the time with the local schools.  Mangyan children are mostly malnourished and they do not have lunch at home when they go home.  Praise God that there are people/organization who partners with us.  Thru Mangyan Kalakbay we are able to help provide for lunch until end of the school year in March 2017 for more than a thousand kids. . .parents volunteer to cook for their children. . .teachers were very happy and blessed.  We can't do it all by ourselves,  that's why we thankful for how the Lord work and provide people and resources. . .even the local government are very helpful.  We were also given seedlings for free. . .we are planting these at our property and hopefully in the future will help us.

At home our own family also had different tales. . .Lily's nieces were in hospital one after another. . .they are sisters and are just the two of them. . .praise God for everything works together for good. . .to those who love Him. I thank God that we can love Him and it is he who enables us to love Him. . .praise the Lord for loving us first.  Our prayers dear friend is that you will continue to be yielded to Him who will never leave us nor forsake us no matter how it looks like. . .no matter the situation. . .

Thank you and may you be blessed!

In Him,

Danny and Lily
